Alright.
I just went around to looking for some seniors' blogs, and I realised that all of them wrote their sentences in complete Standard English. Fine, I shall be like them, for only this time!
Yesterday was very fun! It was drama showcase for all of Nora's schools, and we are part of Nora so we got to take part in the showcase. It was supposed to be 12.30 but I woke at 7 because on the day before, I watched debates till tem plus and slept at 12 and got all excited about the showcase and I barely got to sleep. So, I got tired of sleeping at around seven in the morning so I woke up and got prepared for the showcase. All of us are supposed to wear long black business pants, and I don't have them, so I got my mom’s one and she made it up for me, as in she went to sew it up properly so it would look like business pants. The height of the pants was ok but it looked too oversized on me. Ha-ha! I kept laughing to myself about this hidden joke! And then at around ten, I was supposed to meet up with Bernice and xiu mei at outram park. I was in the train and I think there was a problem with the train operator because he closes the door 3 seconds after he opens it, even at crowded places like jurong east. When I reached outram park, I was supposed to get off but xiu mei called me at once using the phone to tell me to stay right in the train because she is in it already. Bernice was waiting outside the train somewhere and the train took off without her. It took me some time to understand the situation and I kept laughing and laughing. So I went around the train to see where is xiu mei. It turns out that she was able to see me when I didn’t even spot her. Ha-ha! And we chatted a little and waited for Bernice to come. I am going to tell everybody out in the world that city hall MRT station sucks. It makes a maze out of escalators. At the bottom platform, it has 4 escalators, one from level 3 to level 1 ascending, one from level 4 to level one descending, one from level 2 to level 1 ascending, and the last from level 2 to 1 descending. The most confusing part was that all of them looked the same. We needed to go to level 2 so we took on a random escalator, but that took us to level 3! So we took another escalator that lead us to level 2, but we took the one that lead us back to level one. It was so confusing! And finally we took the train.
I needed to buy business shoes and I can’t find any in junction 8! So we walked around and I managed to buy 1 at thirty five dollars. “heart broken…” then we had lunch at KFC. The funniest part was when we were eating, we saw therena! And then we kept dodging around but all was in vain because I was spotted and follow up the rest on the line. Aww… plan failed…
Then we went off to catholic high school in yi wen’s car. I waited at the entrance very long because I needed Alvin to lend me his big shirt. Finally I saw him and he is super nice! Thanks Alvin!
Because the entrance of the lecturing theatre was small and a whole load of schools needed to put their props in, there was a lot of shouting from the bottom because of the orders of which school to move where and whatever. The lecturing theatre was very cold…
Then 1st we witnessed catholic high school’s performance. Wow! They totally rule! But the problem with them is that they exceeded the time limit by seven minutes, which was disastrous. Then later was Ngee Ann secondary’s performance on driving. I was also impressed! Wow!
And then it was us, I was so scared! The lecturing theatre suddenly felt stuffy and my hands were perspiring profusely. But that was only the beginning! At 1st, I was so nervous that my hands were shaking on stage and the pen that I was holding dropped onto the floor. But after I said my 1st line, all of the fears vanished and I drowned into my character. Everyone was laughing at our jokes and our energies got very high! But what seemed twenty minutes that we spent on stage was more of a century. After that I suddenly felt relieved that I didn’t screw up the whole play. Then we watched others.
I was shocked at the mini “grading” part because Nora and some other coaches think that we are worthy for a silver! So all we need is to work harder to get the golden things! Yay! But some guys from catholic high school said that we are worthy of only a bronze because we exaggerated too much, and everybody didn’t agree. I heard some people shout out of nowhere, “you jealous ah?” and I was like oh my god! What if someone thinks that river valley English literary drama and debates society is bragging! Ha-ha! Well we were still happy!
After that we went to junction 8 to have a mini celebration. I spent some money on a curry puff and bubble tea. Oh my! I am running out of money! After that all of us got home and I was so tired I slept at eight and woke at 9 today morning with no disturbances. J
Today was totally boring, so I shall summarise into the important points:
1. I woke up in the morning at watched a few episodes of bleach.
2. I made a failed attempt to start on my homework.
3. I planned to go swimming at my grandmother’s house.
4. As we reached there, there was an extremely high intensity thunderstorm to dampen the plans.
5. But the storm stopped so we went to swim.
6. We got home right after.
7. I made a stupid video on a HL milk bottle and cap cannon.
8. I got screwed up when I played o2jam just now because I haven’t been playing very a long time and my fingers became stiff.
9. I went to blog after playing o2jam.
Well, I think that’s all I have today! Help me spot any wrongly-used English over here and I shall correct it! Good bye!
